Under close supervision, learns to perform a wide variety of un-skilled and semi-skilled tasks in all areas of Water and Wastewater maintenance; receives training and learns safe operating procedures in Water and Wastewater treatment plants, lab duties, pumping station, including adjustments and minor repairs; and does other related work as required. Work performed is under the supervision of the Director of Utilities.

Any combination of college education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Must possess a valid California’s Driver’s License. Must have knowledge of mathematic computations and mechanical techniques. Will be required to maintain “ON CALL” status on rotational basis.
